Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
IMPORTANT: This position is based in the Netherlands. Candidates must already reside in the Netherlands, as we are not offering relocation support for this role.
The Assisted Registry Check team (part of the Registry team which operates similar to a customer service department) plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, security and compliance of Internet number resources. Our mission is to strengthen the RIPE Registry, an authoritative database that records the IP resource registration details of Europe, Middle East and Central Asia. We support our members in reviewing their registry data, identifying inconsistencies and providing guidance on best practices for managing their resources. As the demand for a high-quality registry continues to grow, we are looking to expand our team with professionals who are well-organised, detail-oriented and passionate about the Internet registry system.
By joining us, you will contribute to safeguarding the integrity of our registry, enhancing transparency and strengthening trust within the Internet community. If you thrive in a dynamic, member-focused environment and want to make a real-world impact on the global Internet infrastructure, we want to hear from you!
Our ideal candidate is someone customer oriented who is independent and accountable for their work, while also working as a team member, has a positive mindset and thinks of solutions.
🧠 What You Will Be Doing:
Data Quality Assurance: Reviewing account information and RIPE Database records to identify and rectify inconsistencies, ensuring a strong RIPE registry.
Member Support: Offer world-class personalised assistance to members by conducting scheduled member audits via phone, email and video conference.
Collaborating with your team: Being a strong team collaborator by actively contributing to shared goals, communicating openly and adapting to different perspectives, to foster a productive and inclusive work environment.
Job requirements
👀 What We're Looking For:
Bachelor's degree in Business or Technology.
More than five years of work experience (at least one year in a customer facing role).
Excellent organisation, communication and collaboration skills.
Detail-oriented with an analytical mindset.
Someone who enjoys interacting and collaborating with clients.
Basic understanding of Internet protocols, how the Internet works and how devices connect to each other.
We would also appreciate:
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with networking protocols and routing technologies such as BGP, RPKI and reverse DNS.
Cross-cultural Communication Skills: Effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds. Understanding cultural differences and adapting communication styles to ensure clear, respectful and productive exchanges in a multicultural member environment.
Language Proficiency: Since the ARC team serves network operators across Europe, the Middle East and Central Asia, a diverse portfolio of spoken languages is useful; while English is our official working language, languages such as Arabic, Persian, Russian, Spanish and Turkish are an asset.

A modern, flexible and informal work environment with an emphasis on a healthy work/life balance.
Hybrid working policy, with a minimum of two days in the office. Working from abroad for a number of days per year is also possible.

A generous training budget each year that can be used for professional development.
Organisation-wide internal training program designed to develop critical soft skills—like feedback, resilience, and leadership—giving you the tools to excel in your career and beyond.
An in-house free barista providing healthy varied lunches on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and breakfasts on Thursdays, plus monthly office social events.

MEET THE TEAM:

Do you want to know what it’s like to work at the RIPE NCC? We had an interview with Kjell Leknes about his experience working as an Internet Resource Analyst.
👉 What’s it like to work at the RIPE NCC?
Working as an Internet Resource Analyst at the RIPE NCC, particularly on Assisted Registry Checks, means connecting with people from all over the world on a daily basis. The organisation fosters open communication and collaboration, making it a fantastic environment for learning and personal growth.
One of the highlights is the generous support for professional development — from short-term courses to full academic degrees. While working full-time and studying part-time, the RIPE NCC made several adjustments to my schedule to help me balance both. It’s also incredibly rewarding to be part of a community that’s helping to shape the future of the Internet.
👉 What does a typical day in this role look like?
A typical day involves conducting Assisted Registry Checks. This includes preparing for audits and offering tailored support to members via phone, email, or video calls. You’ll regularly engage with network operators across Europe, the Middle East, and Central Asia.
Our role is to help them review their account details, ensure registry accuracy, and address any questions they might have about their network operations. This often includes recommending RIPE NCC tools and services — such as suggesting relevant (and free!) training courses. There’s also a strong culture of teamwork and plenty of opportunities to learn about new developments in Internet resource management.
👉 What do you like the most about your role?
Definitely the variety and the impact. There's always something new being introduced, so you’re constantly adapting and growing. This isn’t a repetitive job — you’re actively helping organisations manage their Internet resources more effectively, which feels meaningful.
I often say that doing Assisted Registry Checks feels a bit like playing Tetris — you have to fit many moving parts together, and when everything clicks into place, it’s incredibly satisfying. Multiply that across several cases in a day, and it’s a real sense of achievement. There’s also continuous learning involved — whether it’s about new technologies, policies, or the evolving needs of the Internet community.
👉 What do you appreciate most about your team?
The team is experienced, supportive, and highly collaborative. Everyone’s friendly, open-minded, and genuinely willing to share both their personal stories and professional knowledge.
There’s a real commitment to improving operational efficiency and maintaining a healthy work-life balance, which makes collaboration more enjoyable and creative. It truly feels like being part of a community — not just a workplace.
