Job description
Hybrid: From home and our office at Amsterdam Central Station
Total salary: Eur 750 (before taxes)
Full-time: 37.5 hours per week
IMPORTANT: Candidates must be enrolled at a university in the Netherlands
We are looking for a Software Engineering intern to strengthen our Software Engineering team. This intern will be supporting our engineers in solving real problems while learning on the job. Therefore, the internship is suitable for someone that would like to earn hands-on experience or a combination of learning on the job while working on their thesis research. At the RIPE NCC, we operate in the engine room of the Internet, as we operate core infrastructure related to Internet number resources and the DNS.
Here at the RIPE NCC, we are proud of our diverse international working culture and the support we provide to our interns to develop their knowledge in the field through quality hands-on work with our teams. You will be part of a vibrant, diverse and changing organisation in the heart of Amsterdam.
You will closely work with our experienced engineers and, at the same time, we will give you the opportunity to gain experience in many different aspects of software engineering, such as working with Scrum. We already have a project in mind for you: to help improve the RIPE Database backend, which contains internet resource data, contact details, reverse domains and network routes for the RIPE service region.
You can combine this internship with a graduation assignment.
